If you contact us (e.g. by e-mail), the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name if applicable, and the content of your message) will be stored for six months for the purpose of handling your request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We do not actively collect personal data ourselves when you visit our website. For the technical provision of the website via Firebase Hosting, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser used) may be temporarily processed. This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the website).
Our website is hosted via Google Firebase Hosting. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Firebase may process IP addresses and access data server-side for a maximum of 30 days. We prefer servers within the EU; however, data transfer to the USA is possible (see Section 4.4).

This website uses fonts loaded locally. No server call is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service. By loading fonts locally, no data from your IP address is transmitted to third parties.

Google may process data on servers in the USA. The transfer is made on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Google Ireland Ltd. pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on our website to analyse website usage. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
GA4 is activated only after your explicit consent (opt-in via the cookie consent banner). Before your consent is given, Google Analytics is disabled; no tracking cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. We use Google Consent Mode v2: all analytics signals are set to "denied" by default.
Upon your consent, GA4 processes pseudonymised usage data (e.g. page views, time on site, technical device data). Your IP address is anonymised before transmission to Google (IP anonymisation active). Data may be processed on US servers (see Section 4.4).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Your consent can be withdrawn at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of this website, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) under the name "Zandari". No personal data is passed on to us upon download. No registration is required to use the app.

We may send push notifications to inform you about new content, updates, or game-related events. Push messages are only sent in accordance with your preferences. You can activate or deactivate them at any time in the app settings.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). This consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by disabling push notifications in the app or device settings.
To download the app you need an account with the relevant platform. Data processing by the app stores is subject to their own privacy policies:

Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to analyse app usage and derive improvements for future versions. Data processed: instance ID with timestamp, device advertising ID (unless disabled). Consent is obtained at first app use (iOS: App Tracking Transparency; Android: consent dialog). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Firebase Crashlytics: Collection of crash reports to improve app stability. Data processed: Crashlytics installation UUIDs, Firebase installation ID, device information, time and technical details of the crash. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Use of the advertising ID can be restricted:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking
The free version of the app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Data processed: device advertising ID, approximate location (based on IP address), app usage data for ad personalisation.
